Top 10 Energy Efficiency Tips for Big Money Savings

1. Replace your light bulbs with ENERGY STAR compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) to  save more than $250 a year in energy costs.

CFLs use 75% less energy. Lasts 6–10 times longer than standard incandescent light bulbs. *  Turn off your lights when leaving a room. Weekly savings: $5.40

2. Use ENERGY STAR air conditioners they use 10 percent less energy.* Be sure window units fit tightly.  Use ceiling fans.

Make sure air registers are clear of furniture so air can circulate. Only cool the rooms you use—close  vents and doors of unused rooms. Weekly savings: $10.50
